I am sure you are wondering what the heck is Lipstick Digest? It is a compilation of great ideas and information gleaned from all the best magazines that appear on the newstands in grocery stores and bookstores every month–the ones you don’t have time to read.

Well I do, and I am going to be reading them for you and telling you about the articles that are really worth reading from a wide variety of magazines. I will be covering the major fashion magazines so there will be no doubt in your mind if you should buy those leggings after all. Others I love and read regularly include Oprah, Real Simple, Martha Stewart Living, Southern Living, Veranda, Cooking Light, Consumer Digest, a variety of travel magazines, Money, Fortune, Self, Better Homes and Gardens, Allure, and more.

As an official movie nut, I will be compelled to share the latest movie review and what I just saw and loved. This week it was “Julie and Julia”–fantastic for foodies and those who love a sweet romance and a lot of butter. Best summer comedy by a mile, “The Hangover”–a little risque, not for kids, but oh my gosh, so funny. Yes, Bradley Cooper is hot. Tomorrow, I have some great articles to share from the September issue of Allure. It is loaded with good ideas for fall and a promotion for a two year subscription for $1 per issue. What a deal!
